This is a project for the purpose of learning about skeletal animation and how to implement a skeletal animation system for real time applications.
In this project not only did I learn about the concepts of skeletal animation but also got to design and implement a runtime format for real time use.
Designing and implementing this format allowed me to learn about compression, serialization/deserialization and cache performance.
Some features include :
- Command line application loads animation data and converts to own runtime format.
- Compression of different channels, with different settings.
- Playback system for use in real time applications.
